In this article we will go through how to troubleshoot the FM3050 and FM3080 scanner.
1. Troubleshoot in VisitLog
If the scanner fails to read your barcodes, it is likely due to the VisitLog scanner software having to be restarted. Follow the instructions below to do so.
1.1 Select and restart scanner in VisitLog
- Open VisitLog Manager and go to Administration.
- Go to Local settings.
- Ensure that you have installed the VisitLog scanner driver.
- Set the port to the highest available number.
- Save the settings, and then hit Restart. The lamp should switch to green.
